Based at the Headingley campus of Leeds Beckett university next to the beautiful grounds of Beckett Park, the 100-acre campus offers a sports hall and spacious classrooms for students to have the best summer. The campus is home to many traditional outbuildings including the Grade ii listed James Graham Building and Bronte Hall. Students at this centre will experience life in the cosmopolitan city of Leeds whilst taking full advantage of the fantastic facilities available


Students who choose to study at our Leeds summer centre will be able to enjoy a single room complete with a bed, desk and a chair as well as plenty of storage space. Each room has an en-suite with a sink, toilet and shower for maximum comfort and privacy. Students will also have access to the lounge where they can relax on comfortable sofas, watch Tv and socialise with their new friends – the perfect place for them to practise their language skills in their spare time. There are also laundry facilities on-site for an additional fee

Local area

With many interesting attractions and landmarks and one of the biggest student communities in the country, Leeds has plenty to offer young people, from Millennium Square and Leeds Cathedral to roundhay Park and Trinity Leeds shopping centre. The city has become a hub for art and culture and is home to a number of museums and galleries such as the Henry Moore institute, Thackray Medical Museum and royal Armouries Museum. Also with great transport it is easy to travel within Leeds as well as other cities.

Sample Programme

Leeds is a bustling cosmopolitan city in the heart of North England where there is a wide range of interesting things for students to see and do. Not only will they have the chance to explore the exciting city centre and all of its attractions, there are nearby towns to visit and lots of opportunity for fun with our activity programme.

Typical daytime activities include tennis, football, talent shows, treasure hunts and workshops at the centre. Students will spend their evenings enjoying discos, movie nights quizzes and more, which creates the perfect environment for them to integrate and make new friends.
